About
Triston’s Legend of The Cowboy Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit that was founded to honor the life and legacy of Triston Russell Bailey, his passion for horses and the cowboy way.
Triston was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 1, 2000 and graduated from Mansfield High School in 2018. Named after Brad Pitt’s character in Legends of the Fall , he lived up to the wild hearted, unbroken, free spirit the character portrayed. Triston’s life was full of adventure playing every sport, riding bikes, skiing/ snowboarding, fishing and his ultimate favorite, wake surfing. He never met a stranger, led with a firm handshake, had an infectious smile and carried conversation that made you realize he was one of a kind. After high school he found a love for horses , began riding with a club and was set to start teaching horseback lessons in the Spring. Unfortunately, Triston's adventures were cut short in a motorcycle accident on January 31st, 2022 in Crowley, Texas.

Our Brand
We were going through some of Triston's belongings and found this sketch of his initials (TRB) on the
front of a notebook.
One of his friends said he had sketched this as his brand and next tattoo. We adapted the drawing so that all three of his initials could be
distinguished.
Our Mission
The foundation is deeply committed to giving children and young people the
opportunity to fulfill their dreams of being a cowboy or cowgirl. We provide financial
scholarships for horseback lessons, equine therapy, rodeo sports and ranching activities.
Our Vision
We believe that all children and young adults should have the opportunity to learn patience, perseverance, and the sense of responsibility that will help them create a positive future.
